You’ll want one piece to cover the entire bottom of the box, 4 pieces for the sides, and a piece to go over the top.The important thing is to make sure all the pieces fit together tightly. Unwrap heat pack, shake it gently and then wrap it in newspaper or a paper lunch bag and tape it to the top inside of the box. Make sure you do not cover the red line on the heat pack when applying it to your box. Heat packs get very hot so you want to make sure it’s not close enough to boil the fish, and you certainly don’t ever want the heat pack to come in direct contact with the fish bag . You can use Styrofoam peanuts or newspaper for insulation . Place the last piece of Styrofoam on top with the heat pack attached and tape up the box and ship out the package. I will usually attach the heat pack to the box right before I ship it out.
